Coco Howard — Fighting the soft fight

Uncounted is a sequined memorial for people killed by police in the Untied states. Consisting of three hand sequined 8x12 foot American Flags, UNCOUNTED records the names of 4,291 people killed by US law enforcement between the years of 2000 and 2014 when Coco began the project. This was the most up to date accounting at that time. Tragically, as of June, 2021, the data has grown to reflect over 28,000 people killed by law enforcement since the year 2000.
It took Coco three and a half years, working six hours a day six days a week to complete this project.
